Is it possible to get the vision back lost due to TB?

Hi doctor,

My sister is 33 years old. She has been suffering from vision loss for five years. At the time of treatment, it was diagnosed as TB (Tuberculosis). Since from then, she has been taking all the medicines for the disease till it cures completely. Now, she has undergone the MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) of the brain. I am attaching the report and please provide us the analysis of the attached report. Also, please let us know whether she can get her vision back. If yes, then please let us know in which that is possible? Either surgical or non-surgical?

What is the treatment stiff arm from cervical spondylosis?

Hi doctor,

I am 55 years old. I have been diagnosed with cervical spondylosis due to wear and tear on my dehydrated spinal discs. My pain is in my neck and arm. I have occasional fevers and night sweats. I am already using a cervical collar for a week now. I am using a hard collar during the day and a soft collar at night. I am undergoing physiotherapy, which includes infrared ray treatment and neck traction. Until two weeks ago, I used to swim 30 minutes a day for five days a week. However, the biggest challenge I am facing now is my left arm. My left arm is so weak and stiff. I cannot raise my left arm up and across while sitting. It can be done only when I am lying down. I had chronic fatigue syndrome about ten years ago and recovered significantly. My current medication includes Lyrica 75 mg, Tramadol BP 50 mg, and Clofenac 50 mg. Could you give an indication of how long my recovery will take?

Mom has NPH. Should my mother go for shunt or CSF drainage?

Hello doctor,

My 76 year old mother was recently diagnosed with normal pressure hydrocephalus. She is having trouble walking. She can walk only three to four steps at a time. She has been having this difficulty since a month now. She is currently not on any medication for this or for any other issues. We consulted two different neurosurgeons. One of them suggested going for the shunting procedure directly, while the other has asked us to go for LP (Lumbar puncture) CSF (Cerebrospinal Fluid) drainage and look for clinical improvement. I am confused. Which one should she go for? How complicated is the shunting procedure? How suitable is it, considering her age? I have attached the MRI reports for your consideration.

What are the non-surgical treatments for lumbar lordosis?

Hello doctor,

I have a back pain which has made me stay in bed for two weeks. Now the pain has reduced but I have very limited movement, just to go to the bathroom but still, there is a pain when I want to stand up. I did the magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) test, the result was showing lumbar lordosis is decreased with scoliosis, disc dehydration and small central disc protrusion are seen at L3 to L4 level, disc dehydration and left paracentral disc extrusion are seen at L4 to L5 level with moderate central canal stenosis, disc dehydration and central disc protrusion are seen at L5 to S1 level with lateral recess stenosis and S1 nerve root impression. Please advise the best treatment option according to my situation, preferably non-surgery option.
