How to manage a scar on the face after a skin infection?
Hi doctor,
I am a 29 year old male. I developed a skin infection on my face. It is in three places. One on the right corner of forehead, one just near below my right eye and then one just below my right lip. Symptoms started with some itching and redness. Below my lip some kind of small blisters were first seen. Then later I felt more tingling, itching, burning sensation and crawling on the skin. I went to a dermatologist in my locality and he prescribed tablet Teczine and Flucort cream for a week. Then on my second visit, he prescribed Zanclav and Cortimax. And in my recent visit, he prescribed Alaspan and Tendrone cream. I will be visiting him again after a month. Now, all the symptoms have gone and it subsided with the help of the medication being prescribed. But, the thing is that I have big scars remained which making me worried and uneasy. The scars on the forehead and lower lip are like a kind of cut incision being made. The skin got separated. The one below the eye is just a pinkish red scar. I am worried about the scars. Will those scars return to normal skin as those skins are separated each other deep inside? I am sending the picture of my scar. Kindly give a suitable advice and suggestion how to go about it. I want my normal skin back. My immunological investigation, hematology analysis and liver function are normal. Thank you.

Sex worker sex led to penis thread-like appearance. Why?

I had a sexual encounter with CSW(Community Sex Worker) which was protected and I have no symptoms. After six months I have another sexual encounter with CSW which was also protected. After a month a weird thread-like thing started appearing in my penis and it got disappeared in a few days. Now, again I get this same thread appearance and it keeps multiplying in different areas in the penis. Also, I am having intercourse with my wife (unprotected). She has no symptoms and she is breastfeeding. Is there any possible risk for her or for the baby. Let me know if anything else is required. Also, I think it is high time to have a full STD (Sexually Transmitted Diseases) test. I had one last year and it was clear.

I am a 31-year-old female with three kids. When I was in my teenage, I developed red bumps which later on turned into acne. How to effectively manage dry skin, rashes, and itching?

I am having a problem with dry skin and rashes. I have a history of atopic eczema on the neck for which I am applying Flutivate cream. 4 weeks back some red rashes started coming up with itching. I thought it is because of dry skin, so I applied coconut oil and moisturizer. The redness has gone, but the skin is wrinkled. On scratching sometimes blood is coming up.
