What could be the cause for redness in the scrotum?

Hello doctor,

I am a 21-year-old male. I am having a burning sensation and redness in my scrotum. I consulted two doctors from the same hospital. The doctor diagnosed it as scrotal dermatitis. The first doctor prescribed the following: Motimesh cream (to be applied at night) for 10 days, Abzorb dusting powder to be applied morning for 15 days, Atarax tablet to be taken at night for 10 days. After taking this course, after 15 days the itching was gone but still there was considerable burning and redness and irritation. So, I visited the hospital again and the following course was prescribed: Venusia max cream to be applied morning and afternoon, Dazit tablet to be taken at night for 10 days, Desowen cream to be applied at night for 10 days. Now, this course is also done and though there is a considerable improvement I am still having little redness mostly on one side of the scrotum and also some burning sensation. Kindly help me from this irritation.

Itchy skin rashes and nausea. IUD allergy symptoms?

Hello doctor,

I am very itchy. One time my finger itched in the same spot for like two or three days intermittently, then it was my foot. I have also developed skin rashes that come and go. Doctors say it is either eczema or some kind of skin condition or bug bite. These rashes come and go, one doctor even thought I had an STD and so I got tested for every STD out there, and everything came back negative. I even got tested for cancers, diabetes, lupus, hepatitis, and a whole bunch of other stuff. Again everything was normal.

I am also experiencing dizziness where it feels like the room is spinning off and on and tightness in the skull. First, it was on the right and left side then it migrated to the back and now it is back and the front. Sometimes my scalp feels like burning. I have got chills on my hands and feet. I have abdominal cramps, diarrhea, and nausea. What is going on with me? I am on the para guard IUD, but no one wants to say I am having an allergic reaction and they are telling me everything is fine. I am so scared because I think I am being poisoned. Do you think this is a reaction? Or do you think I am a hypochondriac? I am currently on psychiatric pills and mood stabilizers.

Is it safe to go sunbathing with an open wound on the nose?

Hello doctor,

A lamp fell on my nose and now I have an open wound on the bridge of my nose. My nose really hurts as well. I do not know if it is broken or if it just hurts. Also, I am on a holiday, so I do not know whether I can go sunbathing with the wound or if I should just stay in the shade.

What causes black papule that itches along with hair loss?

Hi doctor,

I am a 30-year-old doctor. I have had a black papule on my forehead for 1.5 years and that is associated with itching. It got subsided four to six months after using Mometasone and multivitamins but has reappeared then. It first appeared just below the hairline and spread to contiguous areas below and above the hairline with loss of hair in the affected area. The lesion is black, hard, and itches frequently. There is no scaling, bleeding, or any pus discharge associated with it. Please observe the sun tan surrounding the lesion in the images attached. Thank you.

Can change in diet cause weird breakout around the chin?

Hi doctor,

Just recently I have noticed some weird breakouts around my chin area. I am not sure when they started. While I do from time to time experience acne, I do not think what I am experiencing on my chin is not an acne breakout. Because there is no white head or black head present. They are not poppable. The only change in my diet is I have been enjoying an occasional glass of wine after dinner. I have also started eating mozzarella cheese, which I have not eaten before. Thinking that it was perhaps linked to hormones. I restarted birth control three days ago after a 4-month hiatus. Please help.
