Are high ESR and low-grade fever suggest infection?
Hello doctor,
I am a 51-year-old male. One month back, I had a viral fever for which I was prescribed tablets Ciffy 200 and Nicip Plus. Five days later, I recovered from the infection and returned to work. However, after a week, I started having severe joint and muscular pains and took tablet Nicip Plus again. Ten days back, I was diagnosed with dengue. My ESR was 80 mm/hr. The next day, I went for dengue and COVID-19 tests, both were negative. Also, my ESR increased to 120 mm/hr. Since then, I have been taking only multivitamins. However, I have persistent fever and weakness. What should I do for my high ESR and other blood parameters?

Do frequent bowel issues indicate irritable bowel syndrome?
Hello doctor,
I have been struggling with my bowel issues for past one year. First, I have gas which makes me uncomfortable. In the morning, my gas continues, leading to diarrhea or constipation, and this excretion leads to hemorrhoids. The symptoms sometimes disappear for about one or two weeks. I also tried using Duspatalin for two weeks and felt some relief, and with Alflorex, I did not find any improvement. I do not have any stress. I have a healthy diet and a regular sleep cycle. I also underwent several imaging tests for gastric diseases, but they were normal.
I want your advice. Kindly help.

High fever of 102 despite combiflam syrup. Next steps?

Why do I experience fatigue and heart fluttering frequently?
Hi doctor,
I am 34 years old and measure 5 feet 9 inches in height, and weigh 200 pounds. My heart flutters in my chest approximately every 30 minutes when resting. It feels like I need to take in a breath every time it flutters. It had been there constantly for two weeks. I also have fatigue, and I am scared to sleep.
I do not take any medication or consume alcohol. I stopped smoking a year ago (I was an occasional smoker).
