Patient's Query
Hi doctor,
I have been suffering from pain below the right shoulder blade and right ribs when I rotate my thorax and right shoulder for the past two weeks. I have had rope skipping for the past 45 days. I do not feel any kind of pain when I sit ideally, walking or running. But I feel pain when I rotate my right hand or shoulder and when I try to rotate my thorax. I also feel pain on the right side of my back ribs when I deep breath.
I have visited an Orthopedician and undergone X-rays of L and D spine, and the report showed that there are no abnormal findings. The ESR is 11 in the range of 3-5 and CRP is positive. The doctor told me that the spine is a little straight and he told me that it is caused by spasms. The doctor gave me antibiotics, NSAIDs, and Ultracet. I feel a little relieved when I take those pills.
But after three to four hours the pain starts if I rotate my shoulder blade or rotate my thorax I also feel pain on the right side back ribs when I concentrate my weight on that region during my sleep. Can u please help me with this?
Thanks.
Hi,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I understand your concern.
I have reviewed your question.
I am sorry you are experiencing back pain. Nearly 80 percent of people will experience back pain at some point. It sounds as though you may be experiencing pain due to a muscle strain. This is likely the issue since you do not have pain at rest and only when you move. If you were my patient, I would perform a chiropractic examination and recommend chiropractic adjustments and exercises if you were a candidate for care.
I recommend you visit a chiropractor for treatment and proper care. I suspect they will recommend a trial of care to see how you respond to supervision.
I hope this information will help you.
Thanks.
