Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I am a sportsman, and I got this injury four months back while playing badminton. Afterward, I felt some weakening and pain in my shoulder. I have minor pain while doing overhead activities like balling, throwing, badminton, smashing, and all other daily activities. I am currently doing some arm exercises.
Kindly help.
Thank you.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I understand your concern.
I think you have shoulder impingement and should treat it before exercising, as the problem is weakness followed by stiffness and spasm, causing further impingement. Get your rotator cuff muscles treated first, and then exercise properly. It would help if you did a lot of scapular stability exercises and rotator cuff strengthening exercises. Stretching the shoulder capsule and rotator cuff muscles will help you to recover faster.
Hope this helps.
Thank you.
