Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am 21 years old, male. For last 2 months I have been suffering from recurring dull pain along the neck, back arms, and sometimes fingers. It was of high intake intensity during the first month and in next month it was low dull pain. But this dull low intensity pain along the nerves is recurring. Please help. Will this get better or become worse?

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I read your concern. In my opinion you need a good assessment of your neck. To rule out any facet joint issue or nerve compression, MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) neck will be a good option. You might need to have certain blood test to get done to rule out other systemic issues like vitamin D3, serum calcium, etc. I would like to know if there is any history of hit or any other issue before the onset of this pain. Nothing to worry. As of now, keep lot of icing, gentle stretching of the neck, gentle massage over the sides of the neck followed by icing, lie on your back over 2 or 3 polled up pillows and arch your back and lie for 20 seconds. Do this for 3 times.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
