Hello doctor,
I have been dealing with severe knee pain for the last six years as I am a dancer. But over the past two years, this pain has moved to my hip and my back. I have been going to a physiotherapist for the last eight months and have tried different procedures and exercises. Recently it has been discovered that I have some issues in my lumbar spine, sciatic nerve, and joints. I have taken bone scans, X-rays, and ultrasounds. Yet the doctors have not been able to find out what is happening. I find it hard to sleep, walk, or sit and my legs get numb often. Currently, I am taking Diclofenac. I have hit a point where there is nothing else to try. The pain has been stopping me from sleeping and doing daily activities. Can you please suggest me some options to overcome my unbearable pain?
Kindly help.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
Thank you for your query.
I would like to have a look at the investigation you had done before and would be keen to know if you have taken an MRI (magnetic resonance imaging). Based on the MRI report of your back, I can suggest you something better as we need to know the cause and source of symptoms rather than treating the pain. At times even a deficiency of vitamin D3 in your body can give such symptoms. I would also like to know about your exercise routine as sometimes a lack of stability and strength can lead to such issues.
As of now, I suggest you follow a few instructions mentioned below.
If you have the clinical examination sheet of the physiotherapist, kindly share that as well.
I hope this has helped you.
Thank you.
