Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I am a 26-year-old female. I currently weigh 138 lbs, and my height is 5 feet. I have been a hypothyroid patient for ten years. Please advise me how much weight I should maintain within my BMI. And also suggest to me some working methods both physical activity and diet to reduce my weight.
Thank you.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I suggest two weekly days of routine strength training, two days of yoga and stretching, one day of dancing or aerobics, and one day of weight training as per your capacity under some guidance. Further, you can rest one day and continue the same.
Regarding diet, I need to know your eating habits, so I can suggest you better. But in general, do include whole grains, pulses, legumes, nuts, dry fruits, seasonal vegetables, and fruits. Keep yourself hydrated.
