Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I am 29 years old. A couple of months ago, I had a severe headache. Usually, I get headaches, but for my comfort, I press the back of the neck (a gap that connects the head to the neck). I think I pressed too much. I felt that something traveled from the back of my neck towards the temples. From that day, I feel dizzy, unbalanced, or feel like I am going to die. But after four months, nothing goes well. My stomach, chest, backbone, and lower back hurt. Please suggest to me what to do.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
Your issue is related to the upper neck issue. Nothing to worry about. All you need to do is get your neck diagnosed properly. A good physiotherapist works on improving the mobility of the neck. Good mobilization of the neck and strengthening of the muscles will help you overcome this problem. Things will get normalized. Get investigations done for the neck and brain to rule out any other associated problems. If possible get a consultation from a good neurologist initially. Then seek the help of a good physiotherapist. He will help you with recovery. Keep icing your neck frequently for 15 minutes every 3 to 4 hours. Gentle massage will help you comfort your muscles. The gentle stretch will help you relieve spasms.
I hope this is helpful to you.
