What is the right way to achieve fitness goals?

This Premium Q&A, reviewed and published, features a real conversation between an iCliniq user and a physician.

Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I need your advice on something. I am a regular at the gym and have been following my trainer's routine for a while now. But lately, every time I go on social media, it is like I am bombarded with these workout reels. While some reels are fine Some, on the other hand, contradict what I have been doing with my trainer, and it has got me feeling all sorts of confused. They are making me doubt if I am doing things right, or if I should switch things up. I am all for trying new stuff, but this overload of information has got me feeling overwhelmed. Should I stick with what I know and trust my trainer, or should I start taking cues from social media? Kindly help.

Thank you.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I read your query and can understand your concern.

It is extremely easy to be affected by social media, which follows various strategies by different individuals, and may frequently go off on tangents. But believe me, it is tough to stick to a regular exercise routine or workout program that you create with your fitness trainer. So, only follow the training of your authorized fitness mentors.

I recommend that you visit a licensed healthcare expert, such as a nutrition therapist like myself so that I can assist you in fulfilling your nutrition demands and needs because food is the most significant factor in encouraging muscle gain and cardiovascular health.

I hope this information will help you.

Kindly revert in case of further queries.

Thank you.
