Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I am a female aged 27 years and I always feel like munching snacks, more than meals, I eat more of processed foods for snacks. Now I am worried about the unwanted calories that I have accumulated in my body so far. Is there any healthier snack option? Please suggest an option with fewer or no calories. It would help if you give some diet options that are tasty and healthy too. Can this be followed for a longer period? To suggest ways to get rid of processed food and how to shift to healthier options. Waiting for your suggestions and response.
Thank you.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I understand your concern.
That is good that you are thinking about your health. Health should be a priority. You should focus on the goal and when you start a proper diet plan, do not deprive yourself totally of tasty meals otherwise you will revert to junk food.
Keep in mind that you have to eat healthy. There are many healthy snacks like chickpeas mixed with carrots and with salt and necessary spices. Sweet corn a little mixed with butter and salted with spices. You have to put effort into making special snacks. Make a large bowl and eat it, it will fill the stomach and less appetite. Increase water intake and cut sugar. Decide to take one thing you like in a day and the rest of the meal should be fresh salad and beans.
Beans either red or white mixed with sausages is best. You can add chicken boiled or grilled to the salads and make it tasty. Grams or chickpeas are delicious food. Some pasta, with more salads, is also good. Boiled eggs can be taken. Make one to your taste; keep it refrigerated and eat for two days off and on.
Exercise more.
Stop taking processed juices and take only fresh juices. They are so delicious.
Skip a meal if you eat one heavy meal. It will help to get the desired effect on health.
Take milk and curds, they are good and tasty.
Readymade snacks are not good.
Make snacks at home. That is tasty and filling effect.
I hope this helps.
Kindly follow up if you have more concerns.
Thank you.
