Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am 22 years old, and I weigh 98 kgs. My problem is that my body starts shaking and feeling weak when I start to diet. I had a blood test for sugar since I had gestational diabetes, and the report is fine. I have to mention that my weight has been 58 kgs to 100 kgs over the last six years. I tried different diets. I lost some weight, and I had the yo-yo effect. This body shaking started about two or three years ago.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

First, do not adopt any change in your diet which restrict you from a particular type of nutrient. That means do not deprive yourself. I suggest you take a holistic approach that includes a balanced diet and proper regular exercise. Gradually control your portion size. Do not compromise your diet for the sake of calories. Eat only when you are hungry. Take a nutrient-dense diet, so you do not feel weak. Stay hydrated. Include nuts, dry fruits, seasonal fruits, vegetables, complex carbohydrates, and an appropriate amount of protein and fats. Take a long-term goal, and besides going on a diet, adopt lifestyle changes that you can carry throughout your life. I can tell you better if I know your daily routine.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
