I understand your concern. I would suggest talking therapy if it has been there for a long time. You need to seek help from a psychologist. CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy) and REBT (rational emotive behavior therapy) can help you long term. If the depressive feeling, sadness, helplessness, and crying spells over six months, it is a chronic issue. Psychotherapy is very important. It cannot be like a one-session treatment.
