How to deal with Depression?

This Premium Q&A, reviewed and published, features a real conversation between an iCliniq user and a physician.

Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I was friendly with one girl who was working with me. All of a sudden, she stopped talking to me without giving any explanation. I tried, but she never responded and cut me off. I am married, and she is single, but we were very good friends. I am not able to handle this situation. Please help.

Thank you.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I understand what you are going through right now. I have seen all the reports (attachments are removed for patient identity protection) See, you cannot control others and their emotions. It would be better if you move on. You are already married. It is most probably an adjustment phase, which will improve with time. Still, if you feel you are not able to cope with it. You may opt for counseling online or offline. I am prescribing you Calpol (Paracetamol) tablets.
