Can a new mattress cause back pain?

Hi, Welcome to icliniq.com. According to me, the change of mattress has caused back pain since you both used different type of mattresses. The mattress should neither be very soft nor very firm. It should be medium. It will take time for both of you to adjust to the new mattress.

I hurt my left ankle after playing a sport and it is not healing. Why?

Hello, Welcome to icliniq.com. I would like you to describe your wound, whether it is an open wound or a closed wound with swelling and blood clots. Have you gone for an X-Ray or MRI? Did you experience any twisting in your ankle while getting injured? If it is an open wound, you will have to do a regular dressing with betadine ointment application twice a day and also rule out factors like diabetes since it is taking time to heal. If it is a closed wound, you will have to keep an ice pack for 10 to 15 minutes twice or thrice a day and also start with ankle-toe exercises. Keep me updated so that I can help you with your problem.

How to improve the left-sided, wry neck tilted to the left?

Hello, Welcome to icliniq.com. Wry neck (Torticollis) happens when there is an instability in the neck muscle causing (in this case), a weakness of the right side and a tightness of the left side thus leading to a left-side tilt in the neck. I would like to know if your uncle underwent any investigations like X-rays. Whether his condition is correctable or not can be decided only after going through his reports. For now, I suggest he start physiotherapy which includes a rigorous stretching exercise for the left-side neck muscles and strengthening exercises for the right-side neck muscles.

Can my twisted knee cause any ligament or meniscus tear?

Hello, Welcome to icliniq.com. I would like to know if there was swelling around the knee joint and if was there any clicking sound while twisting your knee. I would recommend you give complete rest to your knee and do an ice pack three to four times a day for 15 to 20 minutes each time and see if you feel better. If the pain persists then I would suggest you do an MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) as that will give a clear picture of your ligaments and meniscus. For more information consult a physiotherapist online --> https://www.
