Medical Conditions - Heat Stroke

Prolonged exposure to the sun or high temperatures leads to overheating of the body or heat stroke. Extensive physical exertion in hot weather can also cause heatstroke. Symptoms include nausea, vomiting, throbbing headache, fast heartbeats, dry skin, altered mental state, raised body temperature, skin flushing, and rapid breathing. If ignored, heatstroke can cause organ damage and death. Wearing sunscreen, loose-fitting cotton clothes, hydration, avoiding exertional activities under the hot sun, etc., can help prevent heatstrokes. Staying inside a closed, parked car can increase the risk.
