Brown rice is comparatively less processed than white rice because, in brown rice, only the hull is removed, whereas white rice, bran, and germ are separated in white rice. Therefore, it is highly nutritious and has vitamin B1, vitamin B3, vitamin B5, vitamin B6, and minerals like iron, magnesium, phosphorous, zinc, manganese, selenium, and copper. It also contains antioxidants that are needed to prevent cardiac diseases, tumors, and premature aging.
