Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am a 33-year-old woman. My vagina is itching and burning, and I have a yeast infection. Kindly help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I read your query and can understand your concern.

Whether there is burning and itching, I need to know whether there are any further symptoms, such as vaginal discharge. If so, is the discharge watery or curd white? Say it appears to be a yeast infection. As per your concern, I suggest you take an oral antifungal drug like Itraconazole 100 mg once daily for seven days after the meals, with it you have to insert the vaginal pessary of Clotrimazole antifungal medication for seven days. You can also use anti-histamins like Levocetirizine once daily for three days as symptomatic relief. With these, you must take care of hygiene and avoid unprotected intercourse.

Revert with the answer to assist further.

Thank you and take care.

Regards.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
