Hello doctor,

I am a 51-year-old female in good physical shape. I wanted to know if a chiropractor can help with tinnitus. I have had it for a year. I have tried supplements, seen an ear, eyes, and throat doctor, and cut down on caffeine but to no avail.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Thank you for your question on icliniq.com. I have reviewed your question. I know several researchers who are studying tinnitus in an effort to find the cause and treatment for the condition. Unfortunately, at this time, there are not a lot of great treatment options. Chiropractic care can offer a lot of great benefits and while you may experience symptom relief, there are no actual research studies that definitely show that it will help with tinnitus relief. I suggest you go to a local chiropractor for an examination. He or she will most likely recommend a trial of care. If you do not notice any relief from your symptoms within the first few weeks of care, it is likely not going to be effective. I hope this helps.

Thank you.
