Hi doctor,
I am a male, and my height is 178 centimeters. I have finished my bachelor's degree at the University, I have a lot of friends, and I do sport often. I am a very cooperative person. Two weeks ago, I stopped my bad habit of standing alone in front of the mirror alone and Imagining things a lot. For example, imagining talking to my professor for studies or imagining myself as a president or talking in a TV Show, doing movements with gestures, sometimes even getting emotional. I watch films sometimes and take the events as my own sometimes. This week in some posts, I read that this is a disorder, and I became afraid that I have a sickness like Schizophrenia, and this week I started thinking about some negative things that I do not like. Please tell me what to do.

I understand you are upset, but I would like to tell you that many people do self-talk. They imagine a situation and do a role play, which is normal. On the contrary, it prepares you for the upcoming conditions. The self-talking in schizophrenia is a completely different thing. You probably read about schizophrenia and got distressed, which is why you now have negative thoughts. I would advise you to remain stress-free, and there is almost no chance of you having schizophrenia.
