Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

Because of drinking energy drinks and soda drinks since last 10 years daily, I feel my voice quality has decreased. I feel that my voice is unattractive. I do not know what words to use but I feel that there is some problem. The quality of the voice feels low. Please give me solution or answer.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

You have consumed energy drinks more than enough through 10 years. Change of voice for more than 10 days with failure of treatment is a strong indication for laryngoscopy to assess the condition of your vocal cords. So, did you receive any treatment before? And how long do you have this voice change? Do you have reflux or burning sensation in your chest or your stomach? Do you eat fast foods daily?

Patient's Query

Thank you doctor,

I did not receive treatment. I do not have voice change but quality of voice compared to other people is so not perfect. I never had reflux or burning sensation ever in my life. I just want to inform that my voice quality compared to others is not best. I feel quality of voice is weak and not best. It is not bad but not good. What do I need to do to improve it?

Hi,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

Use anti-edematous drug as Maxilase or Ambezim tablets three times daily for 10 days. Avoid cold and spicy food. Drink warm fluids and adequate amount of water daily. Do not abuse your voice. You can speak as much as you can but do not speak with loud voice. After 10 days, if the voice is still changed, you have to perform a laryngoscopy to assess your vocal cords.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
