Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

There is an additional white layer in both my eyes for some time. Earlier I thought it as temporary, but it is not. Please advise a cure for it. I have attached a picture for your reference. Thank you.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Probably, you have pterygium. It is a slow growing fleshy mass of conjunctiva and elastic tissue over the cornea. It may be left as it is in the initial stage or you may consider surgical removal (a small surgery) if it bothers you cosmetically. No medical management is effective. But you can use I-Kul plus or any other Naphazoline based drops if redness occurs.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
