Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am a 19-year-old and addicted to pornography, and I feel helpless. It started a long time ago. I cannot even remember when it happened, but I was young. I think it is killing me inside out and destroying my life as I see it. I cannot do anything about it. Kindly help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I have read your query and understand your concern. You feel overwhelmed with your situation, and I appreciate that you have become aware of it. And want to do something to change your situation. Initially, it will feel challenging to get out of the habit. But the key to changing any habit or adopting a new habit is to be consistent. It takes time, but if you are consistent, you will start to see the change. I would suggest you start adding constructive activity to your daily routine—for example, a routine to meditate or exercise. Start adding constructive activities one by one to your lifestyle. It will give you less time to engage in pornography. I would suggest you start by doing this and try to be consistent. You will see the changes. If you find it difficult to change, write to us, and we will work through it.

Thank you.
