Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
Whenever I pop my lower back, I hear a loud pop and then I feel a relieving tingle going do my entire left legs, all the way through my toes. What is going on?
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
With the history, it appears to be the involvement of the trapped nerve in the lower back which we address it as lumbar spine. Usually, people are prone to have damage of the intervertebral disc at the lumbar spine as it is the weight bearing joint having maximum mobility. The tingling sensation which is radiating down the legs is the classical symptoms of nerve entrapment. How long is this problem been noticed? Any other symptoms along with this you have like muscle weakness or pain in the legs?
Now coming to therapy part. I will recommend you take an MRI so we can figure out actually which nerve is getting trapped and what can be the possible muscles involved. Post which I can recommend you some simple exercises which will help you get rid of the symptoms for the long term.
