I sustained a patella fracture two months ago and I am currently undergoing physiotherapy treatment. I have attached the reports. Please go through it and recommend to me what to do.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern.

I have read the reports attached (attachment removed to protect the patient's identity). However, I suggest you consult an ortho surgeon in person since it requires minor arthroscopy due to a partial tear. An arthroscopy (a procedure for diagnosing and treating joint problems) is necessary if you have undergone physiotherapy for more than six weeks and have seen little or no change. If you have had arthroscopy or surgery, it will take 6 to 8 weeks for the fracture to heal completely. After that, a low-level ultrasound treatment or PEMF (pulsed electromagnetic field therapy) can be used to repair the fracture. In addition, stretching and strengthening exercises should be done every 2 to 3 hours, depending on progress.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
