Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

What you described as a lump is C7 vertebra. It is normally more visible than other vertebra. It appears to you as a lump either because you are overweight or you have a forward head posture or both.

For burning sensation, pain and sore shoulders apply an ice pack till the strong acute pain subsides and later you can do hot water fomentation. Once you start feeling better start with neck isometric exercises and stretching exercises. Get well soon.

I hope that you get your answer.

Please let me know if you need any help.

Thank you.
