Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I got a fat lump-like structure just below the neck and above the chest due to unwanted hair removal. There is no pus or blood. There is a needle poke-like pain sensation for a few days. What can I do topically or orally to reduce or shrink this and prevent it from returning?

Thank you.

Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am attaching the pictures. Kindly review.

Hello,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

I can understand your concern. Those are sebaceous cysts, and definite therapy is excision of cysts. It is a minor procedure. If you want to try topical cream, use mupirocin 2 % gel twice daily for two weeks and see for a response; if it is decreasing in size, you can continue it for one month or else plan for an excision procedure.

I hope this helps you.

Thank you.

Regards.
