Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I have an uneven skin tone with dark forehead and dry skin. I want to brighten my complexion. Also, I have small bumps and ingrown hair after waxing. I have attached pictures of the same. Please suggest a treatment.

Hi,

I am glad you chose icliniq for your medical-related queries.

I understand your concern and will try to help you with it.

I have read your query and examined your picture (attachment removed to protect patient identity). You have developed ingrown hair or keratosis pilaris and also have dark circles. I suggest the following:

  1. Use Mometasone cream in the morning and evening daily over the ingrown hair.
  2. Apply Tacrolimus ointment 0.03 % daily at night over the sides of the thigh.
  3. Over the arms use Microbenz (Benzoyl peroxide topical) gel every day at bedtime.
  4. For dark circles use Melaglow new (Avobenzone topical) cream daily at bedtime.

Consult your specialist doctor, discuss with him/her and take the medicines after their consent.

Thank you for consulting me.

You can always reach me at icliniq.com.
