Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I am 23 years old and 5 feet 11 inches in height, and my weight is 132 lbs. My problem is with my stomach and urinary tract. My stomach does not digest food easily. It takes so long and I feel fatigued mostly, my eyes hurt. Plus I feel the urge for urine and I have to wait too long for a completely empty balder but still, I cannot. Plus while sexually active, my urge for urine increases. Do you have some solution for it?

Hello,

Welcome to cliniq.com.

Indigestion is a result of poor digestion within the digestive system. This starts from the mouth while chewing food up to the stomach, and intestines and after the absorption, the waste comes out. So, first, chew your food well. Let it be completely soft before swallowing, eat foods that have a lot of greens and fruits and take lots of water. For your urine issues, it seems like you have a urinary tract infection or bladder infection which might require further laboratory tests.

The Probable causes

Poor eating habits for indigestion, a bacterial infection for the UTI.

Investigations to be done

Urinalysis for culture and sensitivity, stool for ova and cyst.

Differential diagnosis

Constipation, dyspepsia, bacterial infection, stress.

Probable diagnosis

Dyspepsia, and UTI.

Treatment plan

Take plenty of water daily, eat foods with a lot of roughage, greens and fruits, and vegetables. Laxatives for constipation and antacids, antibiotics for the urinary tract infection.

Preventive measures

Proper diet, avoid staying for long without emptying your bladder once full.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
