Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I have right hip pain, probably from rotating movements while playing tennis. It hurts the most when I lie down and try to rotate my right leg bent over the left leg. In the final rotated position, not while rotating, I feel pain in the front of the leg in the head of the femur area. It lasted for three years, and my right knee started to deteriorate because of it as well. I started limping. I had done an MRI of the right hip, and there is nothing serious. I will attach photos to describe where it hurts If that would help.

Thank you.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

The pain you experience is due to an impingement in the hip joint. It would help if you mobilized your hip and pelvis. Also, strengthen your gluteus and hip musculature.

The pain is due to repeated torsion that was there for a prolonged period. Again nothing to worry it is completely reversible, and you will be as normal as you were before.

Kindly revert to me in case you need any further help in this regard.

Thank you.
