Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I have scalp sensitivity and soreness on the left side of my head for the past four days. It feels like a bruise but I never hit my head and the other part feels very senstive. Also I have sharp pain and feel uncomfortable. I eat tablet Duloxetine, tablet Propranolol, tablet Omeprazole, and tablet Norerthindrone.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Your symptoms are suggestive of herpes zoster. The blisters cause pain, sensitivity, and burning sensation. Follow the below steps;

1. I suggest (consult with a specialist doctor, talk with him or her and take medicines with their consent) tablet Acyclovir 800 mg five times daily for a week.

2. Tablet Tegral (Carbamazepine) 200 mg twice daily for a week.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
