Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I experienced a disk bulge injury in the L4 and L5 regions. The pain occurs when I sit or ride for a long time. It has been one year since I first experienced this issue. Please suggest some remedies.
Thank you.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I read your query and understood your concern.
First, I would like to ask you if you have been evaluated by the doctor for the diagnosis of a disk bulge injury in the L4 and L5 (lumbar vertebrae four and five interspaces) regions. However, the best course of treatment for this condition would be to consult a chiropractor.
If you are in a lot of pain, I suggest you use icepacks over that region for 20 minutes and take a break for 40 minutes, then reapply until you can schedule your appointment or your symptoms get subsided. The chiropractor will perform a chiropractic examination and would most likely recommend chiropractic adjustments and exercises.
Once they perform an examination, they may advise X-rays or other additional tests. But based on the information you provided, the chiropractor may suggest a trial of care to see how you respond to care.
I hope this has helped you.
Kindly follow up if you have more doubts.
Thank you.
