This Premium Q&A, reviewed and published, features a real conversation between an iCliniq user and a physician.

Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

My father is suffering from bipolar disorder. When he gets annoyed, he makes a loud noise. I feel nervous about this. Why is this happening to me? This past month, I have had so much work to do and due to this, I have a lack of sleep too. I am not on any supplements or vitamins. Kindly suggest to me what should I do.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

From what I can understand, you seem to be depressed because of two reasons. One reason is your father's behavior and the other is your stress from work. People with bipolar disorder are hard to accept as their moods change a lot. This is because they are not on proper medications. Understanding your father will be very helpful in your situation. You need to exercise a lot.

Thank you.
