Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I would like to inquire or ask a medical advice on taking Diane-35 pills. Is it fine for me as a man to take these hormone pills?

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern.

Diane-35 (Cyproterone and ethinyl estradiol) is an anti-acne pill and an oral contraceptive rolled into one and is for women who have excessive facial hair and acne. If a man were to take it, it might make him lose his masculine characteristics, such as facial hair, and might lead to lower sperm count. I would suggest against it.

Hope this helps.

Regards.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
