Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I have blood in my stools along with pain while pooping.

Kindly help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Thank you for your query.

You could have anal fissure. I suggest you to follow a few instructions mentioned below.

  1. Take syrup Lactihep (lactitol monohydrate) 20 ml at night.

  2. Take free lac powder 2 teaspoons twice a day in a glass of water.

  3. Use betadine solution (add a little amount in a tub. It should contain lukewarm water and sit for 15 minutes twice a day).

  4. For bleeding, take the tablet Tranexamic 500 mg twice daily for 3 days

  5. Take a tablet of Pantin (antacid) 40 mg daily once half an hour before breakfast.

  6. Stop straining while passing stool.

  7. Do not try to sit in the washroom for a long time.

  8. Avoid a non-vegetarian diet for 3 to 4 months.

  9. Drink plenty of oral fluids, up to 4 liters in a day.

  10. Take a high-fiber diet.

I hope this helps. Thank you.
