Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am 18 years old. My height is 5'4, and my weight is 94 pounds. I am experiencing upper right back pain, and sometimes I am having difficulty breathing since it is painful when I inhale. For almost a year, I tried having a massage hoping it will be better, but I still experience it until now.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Thank you for providing the brief history. As per your query, it can be either of the things in the mind, but I would like to know if you are using more of a computer, or having any respiratory problems in the past, or did you have a fall? If there are no respiratory problems and no direct injury, then it should be a trapezius muscle spasm that can happen due to abnormal posture or carrying extra baggage. You need to do strengthening exercises, and free exercises for the same as this will help the muscle to become more functional. Upper back pain is common nowadays due to non-usage of the muscles and bad posture. For strengthening the muscles, I will advise using the therapeutic band for strengthening the muscles. You can buy one online and use it. Once the strengthening of the muscles is done, then I do not think you should experience much pain here on. If you need further assistance, you can contact me, and I will be happy to assist you. Regards.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
