Respiratory Alkalosis is a condition where the pH levels of the blood suffer an imbalance. This occurs when somebody has a high level of carbon dioxide accumulated in the blood due to reduced oxygen intake. This seriously disrupts the acid-base balance of the body. One may suffer respiratory alkalosis with an episode of hyperventilation.
