Pneumonia is a condition caused by infection, which results in the inflammation, and the tiny air sacs inside the lungs get filled up with fluid. It is a severe condition and can be fatal. The symptoms include cough, green phlegm, fever, dyspnea, nausea, and chills. It can be caused by bacteria, viruses, fungi, or by aspiring saliva, food, or vomit into the lungs.
