Osteoporosis is a bone disease that results when the bone density is reduced due to less production or too much loss of bone. As the bones get weak and porous, they are more susceptible to fractures. The other symptoms include back pain, loss of height, and stooped posture. Women are more vulnerable to develop osteoporosis than men.
