It is a form of low blood pressure caused by blood vessels failing to constrict when the body takes an upright position. Dehydration, nervous system disorders like Parkinson's disease, and heart problems lead to orthostatic hypertension. The most common symptom is dizziness or lightheadedness while standing up.
