It helps treat jet lag, delayed sleep-wake phase disorder, some sleep disorders in children and used to treat anxiety. People who have trouble while sleeping can take melatonin supplements. They are available as pills, when placed under the tongue or cheek, get absorbed by the body. It treats insomnia and various sleep disorders.
