Masseter hypertrophy is identified as an asymptomatic growth of one or both masseter muscles. Various factors such as malocclusion, bruxism, clenching, and temporomandibular joint disorders are responsible for this condition. The differential diagnosis includes parotiditis, parotid tumour, lipoma, benign or malignant muscle tumours, vascular tumours, benign, and malignant mandibular tumours. The treatment includes surgical excision.
