Manganese toxicity mainly occurs due to occupational exposure or due to iatrogenic exposure. Psychological changes are the common compilations seen in such conditions. Emotional instability, hallucinations, and psychosis are common symptoms in such cases. Neurological manifestations like tremors, muscular spasms, hyperreflexia, and hypertonicity can be observed. Other complications seen in such cases are bradycardia, hypotension, and bronchitis.
