Medical Conditions - Macular Degeneration

Macular degeneration affects the central field of vision. The problem is related to the part of the retina called the macula. It does not cause complete vision loss because peripheral vision is maintained. The symptoms of macular degeneration are blurred vision, diminished central vision, trouble recognizing faces, and retinal damage.
