Small cell lung cancer and non-small cell lung cancer are the two types of lung cancer. Non-small cell lung cancer includes adenocarcinoma, large cell carcinoma, and squamous cell carcinoma. Smoking is the primary risk factor; however, it may also be associated with people exposed to smoke, chemicals, or toxins. Treatment includes surgery, radiotherapy, chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, and palliative therapy.
