The inability to conceive even after a year of unprotected intercourse is called infertility. The female causes for impotence are ovulation problem, uterine fibroids or polyps, fallopian tube blockage or damage, endometriosis, early menopause, and pelvic adhesions. The male reasons are abnormal sperm production, premature ejaculation, erectile dysfunction, and low sperm motility.
