Brahma Muhurta Uttishta and Pratha Vidhi: If we wake up early in the morning, around 4 to 5 AM, then active vata dosha will help in proper elimination. If we wake up late in the morning, then we will suffer from constipation or gastric trouble.

Cleaning (dant dhavan and bath) - When we talk about hygiene, our understanding is limited to cleaning the body externally, but we rarely give importance to the internal hygiene of our body, i.e., the cleansing of sinuses, throat, digestive system, etc. Internal hygiene is provided for the topmost priority in yoga. For example, there will be a limited chance for bacteria, viral, or other infections to grow when there is no excess of sticky mucus in the body. The immune system can become stronger since there is no blockage. Yoga has many Kriyas like Jal-neti, Kapal Randhra Dhauti, Karana Randhra Dhouti, and Kapal Bhati. Jal-neti is the kriya that can be practiced and is very helpful for developing the immune system. Proper mouth cleaning prevents cavities, toothache, and foul smell of the mouth. Bathing cleans our body externally.

What Are the Benefits of Vastra Dhauti?
Vastra dhauti leads to strong reflexes in the throat and chest regions. The practitioner has to voluntarily control the sensation to vomit, which, as a result, tones the autonomic nervous system. The mucus from the chest is made a little watery and then expelled while the bronchial tubes’ muscles relax. According to Ayurveda, the chest and stomach are the seats of the mucus particles or the kapha dosha.
