Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern.

Usually, girls change their physical appearance after attaining menarche (the first occurrence of menstruation). Because estrogen and progesterone are the two new hormones that start secreting more after menarche, this change starts at 13 to 15 years and ends at 23 to 25 years. Thus, you are in the middle of the transition period. Therefore, you may not worry about your low weight. Once you cross 25, you will get your actual shape or weight. Reducing body weight is more difficult than increasing body weight.

Again, one must consider the genetic (family) factor for being thin. In some humans, because of the presence of certain special biochemical mechanisms, the calorie (food) will get lost in the form of heat and not be stored as muscle or fat. This mechanism is mostly hereditary (family factor). Some girls may have vaginal discharge, which makes them feel the heat (mega choodu in siddha). This is also one of the important reasons for weight loss. In Indian traditional medicine, few herbal medicines will give you enough body weight gain. You can buy the following drugs;

a) Venpoosani legium (Siddha) or Koozhmanda gritham (Kusmanda, roots of Yastimadh, Ghrita) - one spoon at morning and evening before food.

b) Kumari legium (Aloe vera, Cinnamon, Almonds, Gulkhand) or Aloes compounds (Kumari, Hirabol, Kambhoji) - two times before food.

c) Silasat partapm (Karpura shilasthu, Tripakshi swarasa) two times after food.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
