Patient's Query

Hello, doctor,

I am getting nervous during the transvaginal ultrasound. My muscles are getting tight, and I am unable to have the ultrasound done. Is there any other option? My doctor has recommended it for IUI sessions. Is it possible to opt for some other kind of ultrasound?

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I read your query and understand your concern.

If transvaginal ultrasound is advised, then you need to have it.

You can request your gynecologist to add-

1) A sedative such as Diazepam or an anti-anxiety drug such as Propanolol 20 mg.

2) Tablet Urispas (Flavoxate) 200 mg. It can be taken two hours before the investigation.

Be calm and composed.

Thank you.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
